The Alameda Water Polo Club just began it's first year in late 2009. The team is broken up into age groups including 10-unders, 12-unders, 14-unders, and 18-unders.
Practices-
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday from 6:45pm-8:30pm.
Team-
We have played in two games so far and won them both against other club teams. We have our first tournament this month.
Set up-
The six coaches include Marshall Dortch, Kyle Baldi, Lani Molina, Taylor Seals, Leslie Cortez and Brett Lane (Piedmont High School's water polo coach). The team is split up into age groups 18-unders, 16-unders, 14-unders, 12-unders, 10-unders. You can play up an age group but not down.
Cost-
18-unders- 200$ a month
16-unders- 180$ a month
14-unders- 160$ a month
12-unders- 140$ a month
10-unders- 120$ a month
Cost is significantly cheaper if you are a club swimmer (ie Islanders or Alagators), as it is a 5$ drop in fee for club kids. You also can purchase a 10 practice card for 50$ and we mark it off nightly.
All participants are required to have a USA Water Polo membership.
