The East Bay Bat Rays Swim Team, or EBAT, just began it’s 12th year of competitive swimming for the 2010 - 2011 swim season. We are a non-profit organization that is dedicated to competition, commitment, sportsmanship, family, fun, learning, and friendships, with a common goal of bringing swimming to higher and higher levels in this community. Becoming a member of EBAT makes you a member of United States Swimming, the national governing body of the sport in the U.S. Your U.S.A. Swimming membership provides you with insurance coverage, the opportunity to swim in first-rate swimming competition and a free subscription to Splash!, the membership newsletter. EBAT is one of over 2,600 programs nationwide. We currently have about 85 swimmers on the team, ranging from 5 yrs. old to college age. We swim year-round at Cal State East Bay.
